"Water is life, clean water is health" - Audrey Hepburn Painting depicts how much water is life. Without it, we have chaos in species, in communities. Scattered feathers in the First Nation's motifs (abstraction in use of colour) represent that chaos, scattering us all to seek it. Depicted through two empty water glasses and drops of the precious resource. Representing the lack of clean drinking water in some of our communities.

2023 24” W x 18” H Oil painting on Wood Canvas. Signed on front & back. Seventeen wild horses were shot and killed in B.C.’s Interior in 2023. The RCMP are investigating. The horses appeared to be from a herd of feral (wild) horses. We don’t all understand the motive for this sad event. The police acknowledged that the horses were of cultural significance to the local Skeetchestn Band. This is the story behind the painting.
