Seventeen wild horses were shot and killed in B.C.’s Interior in 2023.  The RCMP are investigating.  The horses appeared to be from a herd of feral (wild) horses.  We don’t all understand the motive for this sad event. The police acknowledged that the horses were of cultural significance to the local Skeetchestn Band.
