Donna Rodman discovered a gift that she did not know she possessed. Approaching retirement, rethinking her possibilities of continuing to be a Landscape Architect, Donna decided to explore how far she could go as a fine art painter.
Creative as a Landscape Architect, able to sketch in pencil and ink, think and express herself in visual poetry and storytelling, she branched out to try oil painting, pastels, and graphic illustration. Donna needed to find a way to reduce the stress in her life. She was seeking more fun, freeing up her creativity and greater self-expression, and enhancing an already flexible, balanced home life.
Donna has a love of detail and is courageous working in colour. Both of these attributes led her to conclude she could be a late bloomer just budding. Donna believes her potential had been hidden under the professional career building she spent 30 years cultivating.
Donna is humble and surprised by her gift. Donna has decided to build an added fresh dream that will fulfill a desire for unrestricted creativity. When you meet her, you will find she is quiet, unassuming, and embracing the new chapter to enhance her rich life. Donna is always willing to share lessons learned. All you need to do is ask…
